1 Metre Sale
(alternatively known as the Pillow Case Sale)
Saturday 6th September
A space will be provided for you to sell, give away or barter items that will fit within a 1 metre square area. You can use a pillow case for this. This will run twice:
- 11.45am-12.45pm
- 1.45pm-2.45pm
Rules of the sale…
- We also will not permit traders or commercial companies from taking part. This is a community, family event
- You will be provided an area to find yourself a patch to lay down your items ready from 11.00am and from 1pm. A marshal will ensure your items fit within a metre square. We recommend a pillow case will be sufficient and it can double up to carry your stuff in and out. No other person is allowed in that area except the sellers.
- If your items cannot fit within the metre square, you will need to redesign how to display your items. We reserve the right to say no to products or advertising we feel are inappropriate for our fayre
- A marshal will signal when the hour starts and potential buyers will be let into the area.
- When the marshal indicate the hour is complete, all sellers must stop selling / giving away items. They must pick up all their goods and leave the area.
