Our activities

Actions speak louder than words. Our activities and events are how we show we Love God, Love each other, and Love our community. We are a 7 day a week church.

On top of our events for families, children and young people, some of our many regular events include:

• English Language Cafe If English isn’t your first language and you’d like a fun and informal place to improve your language skills, you can join our free English language classes on Thursday mornings during term time in the Easter Centre.
• The Hope Cafe The Hope Café is a free community Café in our Easter Centre. It is open most Wednesdays from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
• Egham Community Fridge. We offer free food to anyone every Saturday between 11:00am and 1:00pm in the Caddey or the Easter Centre. Our goal is to reduce food waste. So please come along and share our food whether you are in-need or well-off. Everyone included.
• Music in the Caddey is a social for anyone who like to play and listen to music in a relaxed atmosphere. We are affectionately known as an over 50s youth group where younger people are welcome and meet on the 1st and 3rd Mondays from 7:30pm. 
• Bell Ringing Here at St John’s we have a friendly band of bell ringers. The core group of ringers regularly support Thursday night and Sunday ringing. We are always welcoming to new members and visitors.
• Be Creative Wednesdays (in school term time) between 11:30am and 1:30pm in the Hope Cafe.
• Craftea Ladies Our afternoons include tea and biscuits, knitting and sewing, and lots of chat followed by a short Bible reading. New people are assured of a warm welcome.
• Community Bible Study CBS meets online on Thursdays at 7:00pm and provides an opportunity for in-depth Bible study.  Participants use a manual in preparation for discussion and reflection in each session.  The group is supportive and welcoming.
