Bell Ringers
Coronavirus Update:
The bell ringing activities are currently on hold at St John’s due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to resume these activities when it is safe to do so.
How does bell ringing happen at St John’s?
Here at St John’s we have a friendly band of bell ringers. The core group of ringers regularly support Thursday night and Sunday ringing. We are always welcoming to new members and visitors.
St John’s have a fantastic ring of ten, the Tenor weighing 17cwt. The bells were augmented to ten in 1971, and they are commonly known to be a very good set of bells to ring.
Contact the Church Office for more information.
