As we respond to God’s call for us to love our neighbour, caring for our community is an integral part of what we do. 

Christians Against Poverty: The church has identified poverty as an area of concern, so we run a debt centre to provide debt advice and support to people in our community. CAP is a mission partner.

Senior Social Group: A group where you can meet new and old friends over a hot or cold drink, cake, activities and board games.  Please follow link for more.

English Language Cafe: If English isn’t your first language and you’d like a fun and informal place to improve your language skills, you can join our free English language classes on Thursdays in the Easter Centre.

Hope Cafe and Hub: The Hope Cafe and Hub is a free community cafe that we run in our Easter Centre. It is open most Wednesdays from 11.30am to 1.30pm. We don’t charge for food or drink, but accept gifts. 

Egham Community Fridge. We offer free food to anyone every Saturday between 11:00am and 1:00pm in the Caddey. Our goal is to reduce food waste. So please come along and share our food whether you are in-need or well-off. Everyone included.

Eco-Church: We are actively trying to make our church as environmentally friendly as possible, and supporting our community to do the same. We run an Eco Fair every September.

The Besom: We love and often support The Besom which provides practical help such as furnishings to those in our community. If you wish to donate furniture or help them financially, please get in touch with them directly on 01784 470 387 or emailing thebesom@btinternet.com.

Care in Egham: We love and often support this local organisation who provide much needed voluntary transport services for the elderly, the sick and people with disability. 

Bereavement Support: The death of someone we love is a devastating experience. St John’s offers a variety of events which you might find helpful.
