Coronavirus Update
(Last updated 18/7/2021)
After the easing of restrictions on 19/7/2021 we will still be following covid safety guidelines. The seats will still be socially distanced and face masks will still need to be worn. However SINGING WILL BE ALLOWED.
The church is open for in-person services at 9.00, 10.30 and 6.00pm each Sunday. All seats are socially distanced and must be booked in advance.
The church is open for private prayer Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12.30-2.30pm.
All services are broadcast on our Youtube Channel.
There is no stopping our church. Many church activities have moved from the building into the community. Our services are now on-line (see the St John’s Online menu option) and are reaching more people than ever before. Some of them have been viewed more than 3000 times. There is “Zoom Coffee” after the service to allow us to keep in touch.
There are daily prayers on-line along with regular children’s activities and other services.
Most life groups are continuing via Skype or Zoom or similar. Contact your Life Group leader for more information. Many other ministries are continuing on-line.
If you need help of any sort because of the epidemic, or can offer help, please contact the church office.
We will try to keep the web site updated with the current details about all aspects of how the epidemic is affecting the church. Each page of the web site has an update if it is affected in any way.
The Easter Centre
Most events in the Easter Centre are currently cancelled or have been moved on-line. Playbox, the church nursery school, is running as normal.
Helping The Local Community
The church is currently doing what it can to help the community in these challenging times. We offer prayer support, shopping, prescription deliveries etc. Contact the Church Office if you need any help.
