In 2025 we are looking at Seasons here at St John’s, in line with our verse for the year, Ecclesiastes 3:1 ‘There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens‘.

We have wintered in the wilderness and look forward to sharing spring with the Spirit, seeking summer fruitfulness and being pruned and prepared in the autumn. Our four main sermon series across the year follow these themes as we seek to acknowledge and see God at work during every season of life.

Following on from last year’s Discipleship Toolkit Seminar Series, we held a discipleship course this year which was well attended. We will hold another course next year for any who could not attend this time, plus anyone who would like to attend after attending our next Alpha course. It set to happen after Easter 2026.

We do life best in community and here at St John’s we love meeting as life groups during the week, as well as all together on Sundays. In our life groups we get the opportunity to meet in smaller numbers to study the bible, pray and build fellowship with one another, encouraging each other and spurring one another on to be witnesses for Christ in our workplaces and communities.
