Gift Day Results 2022

Press here to Give to St John’s now.

The work of SJE is almost entirely funded by the congregation. We would love to see our gospel ministry continue to grow, and your gifts are a key element in enabling that to happen.

We therefore invite you to consider prayerfully your contribution to enable God’s kingdom to be extended and the harvest of His blessing to our community to be enlarged.

Thank You

WAYS TO GIVE

Support the day to day running costs by becoming a St John’s Partner and make a regular gift via the Parish Giving Scheme  – please see our Partnership Page for more information on becoming a Partner.

Support the day to day running costs by making a one time gift– click here (all you need is a bank card. Note that gift aid details may be provided on line). You may also make a one time gift via bank transfer please contact the partnership team for bank details.

Support  the Hardship Fund which is helping people in financial hardship due to the crisis – click here.

Give towards reducing the loan for the building costs of the Easter Centre – click here.

Support our leaders of the future. Please support our program to develop Interns and Ordinands. Contact the partnership team, or press here to give now.

Payroll giving via your employer – many employers offer Payroll Giving which allows you to give directly to SJE from your salary before tax is deducted. This means if you give £50 per month and are a basic rate taxpayer, the gift will only cost you £40 from your net pay. And many employers match your amount, so SJE receives £100 from your £40 gift. To find out if your employer offers Payroll Giving, contact your HR department. Click here for a list of companies that are known to do this.

Charitable Aid Agencies – You may wish to give via a charitable aid agency such as Stewardship, CAF, Charities Trust, or Charitable Giving. These agencies are useful for those who give to multiple charities and wish to have their giving recorded in one place or for those who wish to give anonymously.

Send a Cheque – To give via cheque, please make the cheque payable to ‘PCC St John’s Egham’ and post it to Phil Johnson, c/o The Church Office, Easter Centre, Manor Farm Lane, Egham TW20 9HR.

Gift Aid – If you are a UK taxpayer, we can significantly increase your direct gifts (e.g by cheque/cash/direct deposit/standing order) by reclaiming tax under the Gift Aid scheme at no additional cost to you. Please complete an Online Gift Aid Form or a Paper Gift Aid Form (click here)  and  post to the Partnership Secretary, c/o The Church Office, Easter Centre, Manor Farm Lane, Egham TW20 9HR

Lastly, you can choose to leave a Legacy (a gift in your will). If you would like to find out more about how to do that or how your gift will be spent, please feel free to contact us. This information will be treated in confidence and is not binding in any way.

Thank you for considering to support God’s work in Egham and beyond and if you require further information or would like to discuss donating to St John’s  please contact the church office.
