Hope In Depression

Hope In Depression

St John’s are running an on-line course for depression and anxiety.
When: 22nd February 2021 at 19:00-21:00pm for 6 weeks.
Where: Via Zoom Conference

Our urge to isolate ourselves when we are struggling is powerful, but this is the worst thing we can do. This course brings people out of isolation and into a safe and confidential community of people who understand and relate to how you are feeling. There is relief and hope in the knowledge that you are not alone.

Our six 2 hour sessions will explore the causes and symptoms of depression and anxiety, learn about brain chemistry and medication, hear about different types of counselling and therapy, share our experiences and learn about the many things we can do to aid our recovery and continued wellbeing.

The course will give you choice, the choice to practise the techniques which help, the choice to discuss medication as an option and choice to make proven lifestyle changes.

Hope comes from empowerment and education.

It is not too late to join in.  To book a free place click on this link by Monday 1 March, https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/hope-in-depression-tickets-140301456433
