What is Playtime?

We are a volunteer-run playgroup for under-5s and their carers. We meet in the Church on Friday mornings during term time from 9.30am-11.15am.

You don’t need to book – just show up and enjoy!

We aim to provide a welcoming and safe environment for children and adults alike, and offer a range of play equipment and toys, as well as drinks and fruit for children and tea/coffee for carers, and toast for everyone!

Special events

Every few weeks we have special events, such as a visit from Simon from FACT, bouncy castle, surprise visitor and our Christmas party.  The event is free.  Donations to offset costs and to support St John’s are welcome, but not required.

Once a month the format of the morning Playtime session changes when ‘Praise Tots’ is held.  This is a free session with lots of fun, activities, crafts, singing and Bible stories.  All are welcome.
