Tea Time Together

Now three years old, Teatime Together continues to provide a warm space and hot
meal to children and their families and carers twice a month during term time. We regularly feed
around 50 people but have seen numbers as high as 70 occasionally.

Teatime seeks to be an easy place to invite people to, a first step onto our campus
for many, a warm welcome when they arrive and a community they can quickly feel
a part of.

Teatime provides community and a sense of belonging for many, friendship and
conversation as well as support for parents at a mealtime which can be challenging
with young children. We have seen children making friends, enjoying eating with
other people, serving and even being brave enough to try new foods because of the
way Teatime encourages eating together.

Teatime seeks to live out what Jesus calls us to do by feeding the hungry,
befriending the lonely and becoming a community that looks out for each other. In
format, Teatime Together is simple, but it is meeting needs, connecting people with
further ministries and forming a bridge for people to then join in church events.
